5/5⭐️ 4/5 🌶This book！ OMG this book！！ Swimming with the sharks has never seemed so fucking enticing！The fact that I was able to read this book during shark week made me so happy， but then it blew my mind right out of the water！Does it hurt is was full of suspense， mystery， enemies to lovers tension， banter， sharks， and oh so much spice！！ I couldn’t put it down。 The FMC has such a horrible start to life， and because of it she ends up living a life she doesn’t wish upon anyone。 When she meets the 5/5⭐️ 4/5 🌶This book！ OMG this book！！ Swimming with the sharks has never seemed so fucking enticing！The fact that I was able to read this book during shark week made me so happy， but then it blew my mind right out of the water！Does it hurt is was full of suspense， mystery， enemies to lovers tension， banter， sharks， and oh so much spice！！ I couldn’t put it down。 The FMC has such a horrible start to life， and because of it she ends up living a life she doesn’t wish upon anyone。 When she meets the MMC it’s pure fireworks， right up until things crash and burn and he vows to destroy her， until the fire they’ve created turns into a raw passion and a need to own her。 Anger， hate， raw passion， near death experiences， and hurt her and die vibes left way more than just the sharks and ocean wet while reading this book！ When you add Sylvester into the equation， who is a questionable lighthouse owner with some interest tales to tell， things start to get interesting and down right spooky and thrilling！If you haven’t read this book yet then you definitely need to， it is absolutely jaw-some and I cannot wait to get it for my shelf！ 。。。more

Dark and twisted！This book was so well done。 The horror aspect was written so well I felt like I could have been watching a movie。 The spice was fantastic， while still giving you a great plot。 I was not expecting that sort of crazy at the end， but I loved it。 Highly recommend if you love dark books！

oof… sad about this bc i loved haunting adeline but this one just did not do it for me。 the mmc’s constant hot-and-cold act was exhausting， repetitive， and mostly unwarranted。 he was too mean。 the premise was good but the ending was ultimately predictable， but it at least got a little more entertaining in the end。 the middle felt like reading the same thing over and over like 15 times in a row。

however， all she ends up doing is applying for a credit card in his name and spending just under a thousand dollars- this man acts like she ruined his entire life！ He compares her to his dead beat mother saying “they both stole so much of my life from me”。 He also tells her， while she’s crying out a sincere apology， she doesn’t get to be sad as she’s the one that ruined his life- seriously？…It was one credit card and less than a grand ， not to mention the reason for her identity theft which is very understandable and valid。 He’s a drama queen 🙄。❌Enzo is annoyingly hot and cold throughout he majority of this book。 I get his internal struggle- wanting to hate her for betraying him while being fiercely attracted to her physically and emotionally- but I found his quick and extreme mood changes， and the way he treated her like complete shit sometimes， to be annoying。 An example: Enzo saying she’s “done enough damage and he doesnt want her needling her way in [to his head]”， but in the next paragraph he is talking about her belonging to him and protecting her always。 All I could hear in my head while reading this book was Katy Perry’s singing her song Hot N Cold❌Lack of development of Enzo’s （MMC） character:- He is extremely Domineering especially with her and I got the impression that this behaviour was not due to his reaction to her specifically。 He was controlling and dominating from the moment they met even before she screwed him over。 I would have liked insight into his character to understand this trait better- To go along with his domineering behaviour with her， he also gave us hints throughout this book that he is a sexual sadist and takes pleasure in physical and emotional pain- again， he did not address this so it leaves us to question if this is solely about their relationship and his reaction to （which I do not think is the case） or is this who he is with woman and if so， why。 Is BDSM his thing？ has it always been？ Give us some kind of explanation because abandonment issues is not enough。 - How was he able to afford to build a high tech under water research facility？ Did he get grants or loans and if so how？ What’s theory on this？ They don’t give this kind of money to just anytime who graduated university。 I would have liked some insight on this as well。 - I just wanted to know why he is the way he is because he gives off a watered down vibe of Zade （who is the authors MMC from her other series Haunting Adeline）， but it doesn’t exactly suit who Enzo is in life （which is a marine biologist compared to Zade who is a murderous vigilante saving trafficked woman）。❌I really enjoyed this story and I loved how it ended but my one issue with the ending （which might not make sense because I’m trying to avoid spoilers） is the FMC’s accent or lack thereof。 She has an American accent。 How would this be possible if she was the daughter of an Australian？ Now， it’s possible I missed a part where he said he was not Australian but originally an American because I do tend to skim here and there， so if you have read his book and can explain， please leave a comment- otherwise， this simply is an oversight by the author- but whatever。 I have to admit， I had very high expectations for this book and author because her other series/duet， Haunting Adeline， is in my top 5 favorite books out of hundreds that I’ve read。 This book is straddling the line between meeting my expectations and falling short。 I did not care for this MMC， but I think that’s only because he was under-developed， and had I understood better where he was coming from， I would have liked him more。 However， I did like the story， the writing and the spice， so， I can’t say I’m disappointed， but it definitely was not as good as her other series （mentioned above）。 。。。more
